Introducing "RON CRITES" - Ron is a native of Orlando, Florida. He grew up with music and
has been playing guitar and singing since he was twelve years old. Ron comes from a family of nineteen children. His family is very supportive of his music. Ron performes as a "Country Variety Music Solo Artist" with the aid of the newest "Ketron SD3 Multimedia Music Station" where Ketron had Ron to represent them at the 2008 NAMM SHOW In Anaheim, Califirnia.
By using this system it enables Ron to play major chords using a 13 note bass foot pedals board, and then changing the cord structure with his right foot of "Minors-Minor7th's-Senevth's-Diminished and Augmented chords for songs that he is playing. Ron can sound like a five piece band. He recreates the sounds of piano, brass, and a host of other musical instruments via a Casio MG510 midi guitar. Ron also plays bluegrass music using an electric 5-string banjo. He has a wide variety on his song list of over 300 songs which include traditional country, blues, classic rock 'n' roll, original songs and chicken pickin' instrumentals. Ron has a new tape called "Heartworks" that he has written all of the songs is performing all of the music on it.

Histalent is known all over the world. Ron's song "Blue Roses" off the Plain Country 2 CD reached number twenty- four on the INDIE CHARTS in Europe. In April of 1998 at Emma, Missouri he opened for George Jones. Ron said performing on stage in front of 7000 people for almost an hour as a solo artist was a dream come true, not tomention getting a chance to see and hear his idol. Ron has also opened for and performed with Jack Green, Shelly West, Joe Stampley, Charley McClain, Ace Cannon, Ray Pillow, Whitey Shaffer, Leona Williams, Dave Kirby, Charlie Walker, Jimmy C. Newman, Bill Monroe, Johnny Rodriguez, Shenandoah, Johnny Paycheck, Joe South, Narvel Felts, Little David Wilkins, Dean Dillion, Tommy Cash , Brad Paisley and Roy Clark.

Ron has been performing for "Carnival Cruise lines" since July 2002 and has entertained so far 7 contracts for Carnival and 5 different ships "
1. M/S Carnival Pride for 6 consecutive months as a Solo Artist
2. M/S Carnival Fantasy for 3 1/2 consecutive months as a Solo Artist
3. M/S Carnival Conquest as a Duo for 10 consecutive weeks with Gary Keniston in the Supper Club
4. M/S Carnival Conquest a second contract as a Solo Artist doing 4 consecutive months
5. M/S Carnival Imagination for 6 consecutive months as a Solo Artist
6. M/S Carnival Liberty for 3 consecutive months as a Solo Artist "Europen Tour"
7. M/S Carnival Fantasy for 4 months as a Solo Artist
January 18th 2002--January 25th 2002 On the Carnival Pride Ron was part of the "Grand Ole Opry Cruise On The Carnival Pride". Where Brad Paisley & Little Jimmy Dickens sit and listen to him for over two hours and requesting alot of George Jones songs and old Country Songs . This was the starting of a great friendship. At the end of the Cruise at the "Guitar Pull" Brad was asked what was the best part of the Cruise. Brad said meeting all of the great people on the ship and "Listing To The Ron Crites Playing In The Casino He Sings Like George Jones"!
Ron has performed on the "M/S Carnival Conquest" again January 25th-31st 2004 for another "Grand Ole Opry Cruise" . This cruise was a great one with Brad Paisley, Trace Adkins, Jim Ed Brown, Bill Anderson and Jeannie Seely plus 650 WSM's Eddie Stubbs. Check out the photos on my "Grand Ole Opry Cruise Photo Page"
After Ron played the Country Cruise 2004 Brad Paisley Dad called Ron to be a special guest and open for Brads "June 8th 2004 Fan Club Party" with Sara Evens, Josh Turnner, Carylon Dawn Johnson, Little Jimmy Dickens and Brad Paisley at "The Factory in Franklin, Tennessee. Ron played for about 30 minutes and had a great time with all of the stars and the fans.
