Introduction

Ron Crites is a native of Orlando, Florida and now resides in Hightstown, NJ. He grew up with country music and has been playing guitar since he was twelve years old! 25 years yea right!!

Ron says that he got all of his talents comes from his Dad, Mom and all of his 18 brothers & sisters that he grew up with. Listening to all of them play and learning all that he could about music.

Ron performs live as a Solo Artist! With the aid of the "Ketron SD3 Digital Multimedia Music Station". By using this system and kicking bass foot pedals he sounds like a full band. He re-creates the sound of piano, brass, strings and a host of other musical instruments with his Casio MG510 Midi Guitar. He also plays electric 5-string Banjo.

He has a wide variety of music on his play list of almost 350 songs from Traditional Country, Blues, Classic Rock & Roll, and Chickin' Pickin' Instrumentals. Ron is not just a musician but an "Entertainer". My real inspiration has been George Jones & Merle Haddard." confides Crites. Pete Swanson, a freelance writer for the Great Falls, Montana Tribune, quotes "Ron is a first-rate guitar picker who duplicates George Jones vocal style with uncanny accuracy.

At Emma, Missouri, Ron opened for George Jones. Ron said performing on stage in front of 7000

people for almost an hour as a solo artist was a dream come true, let alone getting a chance to see and hear his idol. Some of the stars that Ron's played music with or opened for are: Brad Paisley,

David Allen Coe, Jack Green, Shelly West, Joe Stampley, Charley McClain, Ace Cannon, Ray Pillow,Whitey Shaffer, Leona Williams, Dave Kirby, Charlie Walker, Jimmy C. Newman, Bill Monroe, Johnny Rodriguez, Joe South, Shenandoah, Johnny Paycheck, Narvel Felts, Little David Wilkins, Dean Dillion, Tommy Cash, Josh Turner and Sara Evans.

Ron has been performing for "Carnival Cruise Lines" since 2001 on the M/S Carnival Pride, M/S Carnival Fantasy, M/S Carnival Conquest, M/S Carnival Imagination, M/S Carnival Legend and a European Tour on the M/S Carnival Liberty out of Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy.

Ron was on the Carnival Pride for The Grand Ole Opry Country Music Cruise with Ricky Skaggs, The Whites, Bill Anderson and a whole lot of dedicated Country Music Fans. On the cruise Ron had the chance to meet "Brad Paisley and Little Jimmy Dickens who sat and listened to him for over two hours. Ron was on the Carnival Conquest for the "Grand Ole Opry Country Music Cruise" again with Brad Paisley, Little Jimmy Dickens, Trace Adkins, Bill Anderson, and Jeannie Seely. Brad Paisley liked the way Ron sand "George Jones Songs" so much that he was invited to perform at "Brad's Fan Club Party" in Franklin, Tennessee at "The Factory".
